Lionel Brockman Richie was born on 20th June 1949 in Tuskegee, Alabama. As a student in Tuskegee, he formed his own R&B groups. This had taken place in the somewhere in the mid of 1960. During the closing ceremony of Los Angeles Olympic Games in 1984 he performed one of his greatest and popular hits ‘All Night Long’. This song ‘All Night Long’ was promoted by a colorful music video produced by former Monkee as well as Michael Nesmith.
