Lionel Brockman Richie was born on 20th June 1949 in
Tuskegee, Alabama. As a student in Tuskegee, he formed his own R&B groups.

he started growing in his field and then later in 1968 he became the lead
singer and saxophonist with the Commodores. Later, they had also signed a
contract in 1968 with Atlantic Records. The Commodores became recognized as a well-liked

performed one of his greatest and popular hits ‘All Night Long’. This song ‘All
Night Long’ was promoted by a colorful music video produced by former Monkee as
